PersonalEYES uses detailed optical measurements and ray tracing to plan individualized laser correction. The underlying operation is still a LASIK or surface laser procedure, with its own eligibility criteria and risks.
What is personalized about the treatment?
The system uses Alcon Sightmap measurements to build a three-dimensional optical model of the eye. That model supports a customized laser treatment profile, including assessment of optical irregularities beyond a standard glasses prescription.
The treatment plan is delivered with the EX500 excimer laser. Ask which measurements affect your proposed plan and whether the approach is appropriate for your eyes.
